"Morey Saint Denis En La Rue de Vergy 2011 presents a discreet but pleasant bouquet of pear, hazelnut and smoky scents. The palate is well balanced, with subtle notes of orange zest and peach on the attack. It shows more tension than the Pernand-Vergelesses, with a nice ginger note on the finish. very good. Drink now through 2017." (Wine Advocate August 2013 - Robert Parker)

About the domain :
RVF - La Revue du Vin de France / Guide des Meilleurs Vins de France
Wine rated (2014 guide) 15.5/20 (Good wine)
Domaine rated (2014 guide) 2*Stars (These great estates, often blessed with fabulous terroirs, are must-haves which, because of their consistency and the excellence of their production, must be included in the cellars of discerning wine lovers).
About the wine:
In white, the morey-saint-denis En la Rue de Vergy develops a lovely citrus fragrance with a chiselled mouth that stretches to the finish.
About the domain :
"Bruno Clair makes classic Burgundies that are young, lively and razor-sharp; they are often only understood after a few years' cellaring. They are immediately recognizable by their purity and long finish. The domaine has highlighted the terroirs of Marsannay as well as a fine series of Gevrey-Chambertins, including the magnificent Clos Saint-Jacques and the domaine's masterpiece: the elegant and refined Chambertin Clos de Bèze. The lesser-known whites are just as remarkable. The estate's consistency is commendable.
