The spectrum of the Fuissé rocks is the widest in the appellation, and the Domaine FerretThe soils can be thin, derived from hard limestone, possibly with limestone chips, or they can be clayey, derived from marl, schist or volcano-sedimentary sandstone.

"This vibrant, concentrated Pouilly-Fuissé is an excellent argument for the new premier crus. From a 0.80 ha parcel in the heart of this east-facing vineyard, bordering Fuissé, it boasts a deep lemon-yellow color and ripe, seductive aromas of apple, pear and hawthorn. The texture is rich and deep, the acidity balanced and the persistence on the palate impressive. Due to the double calamity of frost and hail, yield was only 5 hl/ha in 2021." (Decanter 2022)
