Robert Parker
"The 2018 Pouilly-Fuissé Aux Bouthières performs equally well, offering a complex bouquet of pear, Meyer lemon, fresh bread, nutmeg and apricot. Medium- to full-bodied, elegantly textured and incisive, it's bright and well-balanced, with sly depth at the core and a penetrating, delicately saline finish. It will benefit from a few years in the cellar." (Wine Advocate 2020 - William Kelley) A great white! Limited quantities available.

Domaine noté (guide 2021) Sélectionné (We remind you that this guide is a prize list and as such, all the estates that appear in it, even without a star, represent, in our eyes, the excellence of French production).
About the domain :
The Parinet family, owners of Château du Moulin-à-Vent, acquired this 4.2-hectare estate in the village of Pouilly in 2016. Management, from vineyard to vinification, has been entrusted to Brice Laffond, already in charge of their property in Beaujolais. The majority of their vineyards are old vines, cultivated organically without certification. The first vintages suggest that we have here one of tomorrow's leading estates, the irruption of a new and serious competitor in the Mâconnais. The 2017s appeared in the previous edition of our guide alongside the Château du Moulin-à-Vent crus. Vers Cras, Chailloux and Bouthières will logically be among the future first growths of Pouilly-Fuissé. The 2018s continue the qualitative ascent of this young estate, beautifully illustrating their terroirs with well-adapted maturation.
