Château des Rontets
After having belonged to the parish priest of Fuissé, a Lyonnais wine merchant and a number of lawyers, the Château des Rontets was sold to Mr Varambon in 1858. Since then, the property has remained in the same family, and Claire, great-granddaughter of François Varambon, and her husband Fabio Montrasi now run the estate.

The vines, which come from selections massales, have been certified organic since 2005. On the border between Burgundy and Beaujolais, Château des Rontets produces 3 cuvees of Pouilly-Fuissé and one of Saint-Amour.
