Vinified and aged in barrels, the greatest achievement of this Saint-Véran is to retain its generous fruitiness and the crispness of the Mâconnais wines so dear to Maison Trenel, owned by Maison Chapoutier since 2015. With its exquisite aromas of ripe yellow fruits, enhanced by a hint of caramel, this white will assert itself at the table with fish or exotic dishes. A wonderful discovery!

Expert opinion
Bettane & Desseauve
Domaine rated (guide 2017) 2*Stars (A serious and recommendable production but a little more regular and homogeneous than the previous one)
About the domain :
A discreet wine merchant based between Beaujolais and Mâconnais, offering a fair range from these two regions. Purchases are well monitored, and regularly provide delicious satisfaction. It has just been acquired by Chapoutier, which should give it greater ambition in the future.
Guide Hachette des vins
Wine rated (2017 guide) 1*Star (Very successful wine)
About the wine:
Seven months in oak for this light-colored wine. On the nose, discreet aromas of minerality and dried fruit, hazelnut in particular. Full-bodied, round and elegantly floral on the palate. A harmonious wine.
