2*Coup de Coeur Hachette

chardonnay
1er cru

"It's the only white of the appellation in this selection, but what a white! It's also the domaine's first vintage in this 1er cru located at the foot of the Beaune mountain, which owes its name to the "very radiant" Gallic goddess Belisama. And it's in a brilliant pale gold color that the wine presents itself, open to notes of dried fruit, white flowers, brioche and a touch of vanilla. Full-bodied without heaviness, floral and fruity, the palate perfectly integrates the wood before a finish refreshed by a hint of salt. A radiant Beaune indeed". (Le Guide Hachette des Vins 2022) - Please note very limited quantities.

pinot noir
pulpy
1er cru

Nestled at the confluence of two combes, Pernand-Vergelesses lies at the top of the Côte de Beaune. Solid and full-bodied, it's a great seducer. With its virile but superbly melted tannins, it's a full-bodied, fleshy wine for connoisseurs, whose fatness gives it all the harmony it needs.

Françoise André - Savigny-lès-Beaune 1er cru « Les Vergelesses » 2017

15,5/20 Bettane & Desseauve

chardonnay
1er cru
chic wine

"The wine is delicate and pure, with a final expression of the sunny climate and soil of deep clay and limestone pebbles" (Le Guide Vins Bettane & Desseauve). (Le Guide des Vins Bettane & Desseauve) Adorned in a robe of light, the wine offers a fleshy, perfectly balanced texture and a broad, penetrating body.

Françoise André - Beaune « Montée Rouge » 2017

pinot noir
end
powdery tannins

Impressive for the carmine purity of its juice, "La Montée Rouge" takes quality up another notch. The juice is fine and melted into silky Côte de Nuits tannins. The nose is reminiscent of budding roses and peony. The impression it leaves is that of a wine without artifice, to be drunk on its own or as an accompaniment to a dish.

Françoise André Savigny-lès-Beaune « Ez Connardises » 2017

pinot noir
bio&bon

Behind the intense crimson of its juice lies a potpourri of fragrance as sensual as it is compelling. Voluptuous from the outset, the wine then displays freshness and tension. This is a wine with a real personality that you'll love!
