"Round and fresh

"Toasty oak notes dominate the nose of this wine. The palate supports this rich yet invigorating body, where creamy vanilla notes combine with those of yellow, plum fruits. The result is a round, fresh wine with great balance". (Wine Enthusiast 2020). Breillonde is a singular terroir, which is reflected in this smooth, generous white wine, marked by a beautiful freshness. Ideal for any occasion, it will enhance your meals and aperitifs, and delight your taste buds!

Bettane & Desseauve

Bettane & Desseauve

Domaine rated (2021 guide) 1*Star (A serious, recommendable production, in line with what one has the right to expect from its appellation(s))

About the domain :

Domaine du Mont Épin is the second estate of brothers Richard and Stéphane Martin, of Croix Sénaillet de Davayé, acquired in 2015 and whose vines are located around Mont Épin. It comprises 15 hectares divided into four terroirs and two appellations, Mâcon-Péronne (seven hectares) and Viré-Clessé. The estate is converting to organic farming to maintain the same philosophy as Davayé, and the wines come in two cuvées for Péronne and two for Viré-Clessé, with a rather charming style thanks to ripe harvests. Perfect for gastronomy.

All the same: Maconnais at the top of Burgundy, with great value for money. Above all, a very seductive wine.
