Henriot Champagne
The Henriot Champagne House was founded in 1808 by Appoline Godinot, widow of Henriot, an entrepreneur and woman of character who already marketed her wines both in France and abroad. Today, this venerable Champagne House is run by Thomas Henriot, who is passionately committed to perpetuating a very particular style. The House owns its own vineyards located on the Côte des Blancs and the Montagne de Reims, and supplements its supply with winegrowers who have been loyal for many generations and who meet rigorous specifications in the selection of the best grapes. All of the Champagnes Henriot vineyards are cultivated using sustainable viticulture methods, without weedkillers or fertilizers.

The quality of the cuvées and perfectionism are two of the House's core values. Knowledge of the terroirs and the family's expertise in blending make Champagnes Henriot wines instantly recognizable.

The Brut Souverain champagne comes from the terroirs of the Côte des Blancs and the Montagne de Reims. Henriot's Brut Souverain champagne is composed of:

50% Chardonnay, which will bring all the freshness,
50% Pinot Noir for fruitiness.
Some vintages.

No fewer than 25 vintages contribute to the composition of this prestigious cuvée. The Brut Souverain champagne is highly regarded by both international and French critics.

The tasting

To the eye, an abundance of fine bubbles, a clear straw-gold color, and a beautiful effervescence accompany you. On the nose, you will discover the floral style of this cuvée with citrus notes that give way to delicious brioche aromas. Finally, on the palate, Henriot's Brut Souverain offers a fresh and lively attack, with a refined texture and a finish that lingers for several seconds. Enjoy this true delight.

Food and wine pairings

Henriot's Brut Souverain champagne is perfect as an aperitif, and its elegance makes it ideal for accompanying an entire meal. Champagne is a vast terroir with many different regions. This results in a multitude of possible styles of wine. The Henriot family has always maintained consistency in its blends between Chardonnay and Pinot. What makes this wine so special is the use of great terroirs.

So, it's not just about grands crus or premiers crus, but also iconic terroirs. All these conditions give the wines their aging potential and organoleptic qualities. So for family dinners, don't hesitate to treat yourself to a magnificent Henriot champagne.

A prestigious taste

The brut cuvée expresses the great prestige of Chardonnay and Pinot Noir grapes from the Montagne de Reims. Two-thirds of the vines are Grand Cru and Premier Cru. The aroma is a beautiful golden color with lovely gray highlights. The nose is very rich (brioche, pastry, butter). The palate is very smooth and flavorful. The delicious notes found on the nose are present on the palate, with the addition of several fruits: elderberry and blackcurrant buds. In addition to serving it as an aperitif, you can also enjoy it as a dessert. For an original pairing, try it with chicken in cream sauce accompanied by porcini mushrooms. Serve chilled for the best taste experience.

Henriot champagne: a symbol of precision and balance

Maison Henriot is renowned for its refined, smooth, and elegant champagnes. Always smooth, they owe their character to the blossoming and excellent reputation of the reserve wines and base wines. With careful dosages for natural and delicate champagnes, Henriot's Brut Souverain has a refined character and remarkable smoothness. This concept is also characterized by the consistency of its range.

Tasting this treasure evokes unparalleled emotion. The quality/price ratio is truly affordable. The house has aging cellars in Reims. It can draw on historic reserves in the Côte des Blancs and Montagne de Reims.
