Champagne Henriot
Champagne Henriot was founded in 1808 by Appoline Godinot, widow Henriot, an entrepreneur and woman of character who was already marketing her wines both in France and abroad. Today, this venerable Champagne House is run by Thomas Henriot, who is passionately committed to perpetuating a very special style. The House has its own vineyards in the Côte des Blancs and Montagne de Reims regions, and sources its grapes from winemakers who have been loyal to the House for many generations, and who adhere to rigorous specifications in selecting the best grapes. The entire vineyard of Champagnes Henriot is cultivated using integrated viticulture methods, with no use of weedkillers or fertilizers.

Cuvée quality and perfectionism are two of the House's core values. Our knowledge of the terroirs and our family's expertise in blending make Champagnes Henriot wines unmistakable.

Sovereign Brut Champagne comes from the terroirs of the Côte des Blancs and the Montagne de Reims. Henriot's brut souverain champagne is composed of :

- 50% Chardonnay for freshness,
- 50% Pinot Noir for fruitiness.
- A few vintages.

No fewer than 25 crus go into the composition of this prestigious cuvée. The brut souverain champagne is highly acclaimed by international and French critics alike.

The tasting

To the eye, an abundance of fine bubbles, a limpid straw-gold color and beautiful effervescence accompany you. On the nose, you'll discover the floral style of this cuvée, with notes of citrus fruit that later give way to greedy, brioche-like aromas. On the palate, Henriot's brut souverain has a fresh, lively attack, offering a careful texture with a finish that lasts for several seconds. Enjoy this real delight.

Food and wine pairing

Henriot's brut souverain champagne is perfect as an aperitif, and its elegance can accompany an entire meal. Champagne is a vast terroir with many different regions. The result is a multitude of possible wine directions. The Henriot family has always maintained this homogeneity between Chardonnay and Pinot. What makes this wine so special is the use of great terroirs.

So, not only are there grands crus and premiers crus, but also emblematic terroirs. All these conditions give the wines their ageing potential and organoleptic qualities. So don't hesitate to treat yourself to a magnificent Henriot champagne for family dinners.

A prestigious taste

The expression of the brut souverain comes from the wide range of prestigious grape varieties, including Chardonnay and Pinot Noir from the Reims mountains. Two-thirds of the vines are Grands Crus and Premier Crus. The aroma is a beautiful golden color turning to pretty gray highlights. The nose is delicious (brioche, pastry, butter). The palate is very smooth and tasty. The greedy notes of the nose are repeated, with the addition of several fruits: elderberry, blackcurrant bud. As well as offering it as an aperitif, you can also enjoy it as a desert. For an original pairing, try it with creamy chicken and porcini mushrooms. For the best mouthfeel, serve chilled.

Henriot champagne: a symbol of precision and balance

Maison Henriot is renowned for its refined, smooth and elegant champagnes. As soft as ever, they owe their packaging to the blossoming reputation of reserve and base wines. Henriot's brut souverain, with its careful dosage of natural, uncluttered champagnes, has a fine character and remarkable softness. This concept is also characterized by the consistency of its range.

Tasting this treasure emanates unparalleled emotion. The quality/price ratio is truly affordable. The company has its own ageing cellars in Reims. It can draw on historic provisions in Côte des Blancs and Montagne de Reims.
