Champagne Quénardel et Fils
The estate's history dates back to the 19th century, with the construction of vaulted cellars in 1820 and the production of the first bottle in 1863 by Alfred Ravez, the estate's first owner. In 1956, Francis Quénardel, grandson of Alfred Ravez, joined his father in Verzenay to work with him on the 60 ares of vines. This marked the beginning of Champagne Quénardel et Fils.

Francis Quénardel took over the estate in 1965, after expanding the vineyard to its current size of 7 hectares.

In 2014, the Labruyère family, owners of Domaine Labruyère (Moulin-à-Vent), Domaine Jacques Prieur (Meursault) and Château Rouget (Pomerol), acquired Champagne Quénardel et Fils

While retaining its status as a Récoltant-Manipulant, Champagne Quénardel et Fils combines tradition, state-of-the-art vinification and parcel selection to bring out the best in each of its terroirs.

Cité Hachette

-

Médaille d'Or Gilbert & Gaillard

"Pinot noir (60%) and Chardonnay collaborate on this cuvée from the 2011, 2010 and 2009 vintages. Its citrus and rose aromas are enriched by notes of marzipan on aeration, and combine on the palate with lemony, mentholated freshness and a creamy finish. A greedy, flattering whole". (Le Guide Hachette des Vins 2017)
