Tarapaca

Viña Tarapacá was founded in 1874 near the Cordillera, in the Maipo region. The estate was successively renamed "Viña de Rojas", "Viña Zavala" and now " Viña Tarapacá ". On this volcanic land, the vineyard extends over 600 hectares, on a terroir comparable to that of the Bordeaux region. Viña Tarapacá has a first winery dedicated to Chardonnay, with almost 1,500 French oak barrels, and a second dedicated to red wines, with over 3,500 American and French oak barrels. The estate also boasts a Wine Museum, as well as a Tuscan-style manor house built in 1927, bordered by a 10-hectare park.
