Vinedos y Bodegas Pablo
Viñedos y Bodegas Pablo is a family-owned estate located in the municipality of Almonacid de la Sierra (Zaragoza). In 1995, José Pablo Casao and his sisters acquired an old estate dating back to the 1940s, which they renovated and equipped with the latest winemaking technology, with the aim of expressing the terroir in wines made from indigenous grape varieties.
The Bodegas Pablo vineyards are located at the foot of the Sierra de Algairén, between 550 and 750 meters above sea level. The soils are mainly composed of crushed slate "licorelle" and sandy and stony areas.
The average age of the vines is 30 years. The oldest vines are over a hundred years old.
The climate around the vineyard experiences significant temperature variations between day and night in summer, allowing several quality factors to flourish: maturity, acidity, etc.
The pride of Bodegas Pablo is undoubtedly the richness of its terroir.
