"Aromas of plums, crushed berries, dried thyme, flowers, cloves and baking spices. Full-bodied, with smooth tannins. Round and velvety. Some cocoa powder on the firm finish. Best after 2022. (James Suckling 2021)

"The 2008 edition of Pieza el Caldero is composed of 96% Aragon and 4% Grenache, over 70 years old. It was aged for 12 months in American oak barrels before bottling without filtration. Slightly less exuberant than the Pieza el Coll (but also a little more complex), it offers greater density and structure, with ripe, succulent fruit.
