Pagos de Familia Langa
Visit Bodega Pago de Familia Langa was born in the 19th century. In the 1940s, a new terroir with untapped potential was discovered: Catalayud, in Aragon. La Famila Langa settled in the heart of the vineyard to produce both still wines and remarkable cavas.

Pago de Familia Langa has gained a strong reputation for its modern, dynamic style, while retaining a traditional family spirit.

"The 2008 edition of Pieza el Caldero is composed of 96% Aragon and 4% Grenache, over 70 years old. It was aged for 12 months in American oak barrels before bottling without filtration. Slightly less exuberant than the Pieza el Coll (but also a little more complex), it offers greater density and structure, with ripe, succulent fruit. It should evolve for 1-2 years, and give great pleasure through 2018" (Wine Advocate - Robert Parker).

"The 2008 Real de Aragon Garnacha Centenaria was produced from vines over 80 years old and spent 12 months in American oak barrels. Aromas of black fruit, cigar box, leather and lavender make up an expressive nose, for an opulent, complex and full-bodied Grenache. Give it 1-2 years to fully develop, drinking through 2018." (Wine Advocate - Robert Parker)

"The non-vintage Real de Aragon Brut de Pagos Familia Langa comes from the DO of Calatayud, and is composed of 75% Chardonnay and 25% Macabeu. Mineral, biscuity, with notes of white peach on the nose, concentrated, persistent, an intense sparkling wine. Flavors are well-defined and precise, with a clean, refreshing finish. A remarkable wine to drink within two years." (Wine Advocate May 2011 - Robert Parker)
