After working for several years on various viticultural projects in Navarre and Rioja, Luis Moya Tortosa (LMT Wines)now 38, decided in 2012 to start making his own wines. Masusta, Urbanita and Kimera are the result of years of experience and, above all, a great passion for what he does.

Luis Moya Tortosa (LMT Wines) is a true nomad: some of his wines are not made in the same place for each vintage. This is because he doesn't have his own cellar, but rents space and vats to make his cuvées. Masusta is, however, one of the few wines (along with Kimera) that always come from the same vineyard and are made in cellars in San Martin Unx, Navarre.
All the vines used by Luis Moya Tortosa (LMT Wines ) are cultivated in a sustainable way, with respect for nature and the environment.

"Masusta red 2018 comes from an organically farmed vineyard (not certified). It was fermented to preserve the varietal character of Garnacha, and matured in neutral oak barrels for two winters to achieve a natural stabilization of the wine. It's ripe and full-bodied at 14.5% alcohol, but it's balanced and shows no excess. The oak is fully integrated, and the wine is juicy and reveals fine-grained tannins and pure flavors."
