"A white wine of unparalleled smoothness, with a freshness and complexity worthy of a Rioja. Heredia at the height of its art!"
The Blanco Reserva Viña Tondonia 2013 is a blend of 90% Viura and 10% Malvasía Riojana from the Tondonia vineyard, located along the Ebro River. Aged for six years in oak barrels and an additional two years in the bottle, this wine defies expectations of youth with its bright amber hue. Subtle aromas of honey, dried apricot, tangerine peel, and light oak greet the senses. Initially rich and invasive, it evolves into a slightly chalky flow with a touch of freshness on the palate. This complex white wine, with its lingering finish and final hint of hazelnut, stands out for its aging potential, like the whites of Rioja of yesteryear. (Vinous 2023)

About wine:
An open and balsamic expression of Tondonia. It is charming and complex, with white truffles, biscuits, toasted macadamia nuts, and a hint of Parmesan cheese. Bright and expressive, it is medium-bodied with a long, smooth finish. Wonderful today, it should continue to improve over the next few years. Drink now or cellar.
