Elena Fucci Estate
The estate Elena Fucci is located near the town of Barile, north of Basilicata, in the heart of the region's finest vineyards and olive groves, on the fertile slopes of solidified lava from an ancient volcano, Mount Vulture.

The estate Elena Fucci is passionately cultivated to achieve the absolute quality and expressiveness of Aglianico del Vulture, producing a unique wine with a personality that is unmistakable. The 7-hectare vineyard of the Elena Fucci estate is situated at an altitude of 650 m on a lava flow from the volcano. The soil is composed of volcanic rock and ash, known as "pozolana". This characteristic of the soil gives the wine its strength, structure and minerality, which merge into an elegant bouquet and impressive textural finesse.

The complexity ofElena Fucci, Titolo, is as head-turning as the wild Italian beauty of its owner.

Elena Fucci - Titolo 2018

"Rich aromas of violet, juniper, cherry and bramble berry burst from the nose. Moderately voluminous, juicy red cherry and blackberry flavors are full and dynamic, and notes of tar and pressed rose appear on the mid-palate. Yet throughout the tasting, the bright berry and acidic mineral notes remain constant. The structure and balance of this wine make it pleasant to drink now, but it will also hold up well through 2028." (Wine Enthusiast 2021)

(2009 vintage notes)

New vintage, 2009 rated: Robert Parker 93/100
This Cuvée Titolo is impressive from the outset, with floral, spicy, black fruit and tertiary aromas on the nose. The texture on the palate is rich and fine: all the minerality of volcanic rock, complexity and fruit in an imposing, dazzling structure!
