di Sardegna
Di Sardegna includes the following names Cannonau di Sardegna and Vermentino di Sardegna.

The Cannonau (Grenache) di Sardegna appellation stretches over 260km, from Sulcis and Cagliari (south) to Gallura (north), and has been in existence since 1972. Production under this appellation represents around 20% of Sardinian wines. The appellation covers red, rosé, reserve and liqueur wines. Reserve wines must have a minimum alcohol content of 13%, and must have been aged for at least 2 years before marketing. Sweet liqueur wines contain between 17.5% and 20% alcohol. Wines of this appellation are rich in anthocyanins and polyphenols, and in recent years have attracted the attention of consumers: these compounds are rich in antioxidants and therefore beneficial to heart health.

The Vermentino di Sardegna appellation (which may also be known as Vermentino di Gallura) covers the whole of Sardinia, and includes white wines made from at least 95% Vermentino, which are complex and well-balanced. There are several types of wine under this appellation: Superiore, pétillant, Passito and Vendange Tardive.

"A true delight" according to Vert de Vin, this 100% Cannonau will make you travel!"

"A wine that smells of raspberry and hibiscus tea. Intensely sweet raspberries and strawberries fill the midpalate, surrounded by a moonlit haze of white pepper dust and rose petals. Fine tannins. Something wildly spicy and fleshy, in the sanguine style. Quite distinctive, and despite all the complexity and texture that fills the mouth, the wine finishes as fine and ethereal as a silk scarf. Certified organic (Ecocert) 2023-2027" (Jancis Robinson 2023)

"100% Cannonau rated 97/100 by James Suckling!"

"A panoramic nose, with a variety of red fruits and berries standing out, complemented by notes of roses, violets and fresh pine. Medium-bodied, with plenty of depth and complexity. Silky tannins. Finely tuned intensity keeps the palate moving. Smoky finish. Superb. Best after 2024." (James Suckling 2022)
