Born from the meeting of two passionate oenologists, Abbotts & Delaunay wines embody the expertise and high standards of the Languedoc region in a precise and modern style. Created in 2005, theAbbotts & Delaunayestate, located in Alon in the Aude department, covers 15 hectares and comprises 25 plots scattered across the hills of Magrie in the foothills of the Cévennes. Passionate about the richness of the Languedoc-Roussillon terroirs, the Australian-Burgundian duo highlights the tremendous potential of this vineyard through charming and precise wines that are acclaimed by the greatest connoisseurs. Terraces of rounded pebbles, sandstone, marl, limestone scree, and schist, scorched by the sun and swept by powerful winds, contribute to the richness of this vineyard, where Chardonnay, Sauvignon, Viognier, Grenache, Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Syrah, Mourvèdre, Carignan, and Pinot Noir thrive.
