Wine rated (guide 2024) 89/100
Domaine rated (guide 2024) 1*Star (Stars in the making or quality winegrowers with a good level of production, you won't be disappointed when you taste the wines from these estates)
About the wine:
On the white side, Les Pierres Blanches is a fresh Sauvignon built around citrus and exotic fruits.
About the domain :
Sophie and Thibaud Bardi de Fourtou took over this historic Faugères estate in 2017. The wines we tasted for this edition are the latest witnesses to the transition from Jean-Michel Alquier to the new owners. The couple's aim? To perpetuate the style of the house, whose vineyards are dominated by old syrahs from massal selections (among the first planted in Languedoc in the 1960s by Jean-Michel Alquier's father, Gilbert), complemented by mourvèdre and grenache. We're keeping a close eye on this new development.

About the wine:
Pretty apple on the nose, with some tropical fruit as well. Light to medium-bodied with a supple, mellow character. Succulent and delicious. Drink now.
