"A real treat for this explosively fruity, fresh cuvée. Ideal for the summer season!

RVF - La Revue du Vin de France / Guide des Meilleurs Vins de France

Wine rated (guide 2025) 93/100 Favorite

Domaine rated (guide 2025) 2*Stars (These great estates, often endowed with fabulous terroirs, are must-haves which, thanks to their consistency and the excellence of their production, must be included in the cellars of discerning wine lovers).

About the wine:

Pradeloup, young Cinsault vines, is already a sapid juice, with its acidity, tactile finesse and citrus notes.

About the domain :

The son of a winegrower, Xavier Braujou set up his own estate in 1998, divided between Aniane and Saint-Jean-de-Fos. This solitary and determined artisan-winemaker, a former lumberjack, makes wines of great character, the fruit of a huge amount of work on old gobelet vines with very low yields, averaging around 20 hl/ha. His guiding principles can be summed up in two words: finesse and freshness. Far from the constraints of the appellation, he has always worked with a single grape variety, blending his different terroirs. Extraction is gentle, ageing is long and the wines are never made with new oak. A confidential and indispensable address, prized by connoisseurs and top sommeliers alike. The exceptional level observed over several vintages leads us to award it our second star without hesitation.
