Clos Maïa
The vineyard of just over 4 hectares sits on a clay-limestone terroir on the outskirts of Pégairolles-de-l'Escalette. The vines are cultivated with the greatest care and without chemical treatments. The Clos Maïa is in its fourth year of conversion to organic farming. Vinification is carried out with the minimum of intervention, but in a very controlled way.
Géraldine Laval produces a coherent range of fine, delicate, easily digestible wines that are both authentic and typical of Languedoc grape varieties.

Grown and vinified organically, with respect for nature, this pretty white Clos Maïa offers notes of white peach, Granny Smith apple and acacia flower, subtly enhanced by aniseed scents. The chiselled palate develops white-fleshed fruit aromas in keeping with the nose. Elegant and well-balanced, this wine is lively, with a long, mineral, deliciously saline finish. To be discovered and rediscovered with a good meal!
