The Duc de Morny 2014 reveals greedy aromas of exotic fruit, pear and candied citrus zest on the nose and palate. Lively and well-balanced, its slightly bitter finish is what makes this cuvée so original. The perfect companion for shellfish!

Guide Hachette des vins

About the domain :
A cooperative founded in 1922, L'Ormarine - then the Association des producteurs de vins blancs de Pinet - is a major player in the defense of the picpoul-de-pinet appellation. After merging with the caves of Villeveyrac (2009) and Cournonterral (2014), and then in 2017 with the caves of Saint-Hippolyte-du-Fort and Vias, it now has 500 cooperative members and 2,500 ha, 520 of which are dedicated to the picpoul grape alone.

Very very disappointed! Very alcoholic taste, very little aroma and very bitter. No pleasure in drinking this wine, even with blackcurrants. Hard to believe it won a prize in Paris. Besides, where's the medal label? I really feel I've been had, I'm going to ask for a refund.

Excellent value for money for a white wine that goes well with simple everyday seafood dishes.
