"Pleasure Award for this fruity and balanced Cabernet Franc, the archetype of an easy-drinking wine."

"Easy to drink, this Cabernet Franc immediately delivers a beautiful fruity expression. It then fills the mouth with a supple and refined texture, endowed with light and mellow tannins. A bottle that can be enjoyed in its youth with a pissaladière or cured meats." (Le Guide Hachette 2026).

About wine:

Easy to drink, this Cabernet Franc immediately delivers a beautiful fruity expression. It then fills the mouth with a supple and refined texture, endowed with light and mellow tannins. A bottle that can be enjoyed in its youth with a pissaladière or cured meats.

About the estate:

Run by the younger generation, Stéphane, Julien, and Vincent Denis, who joined in 2003, 2006, and 2009 respectively, this has been a family business since 1920; originally covering 5 hectares, it now spans 90 hectares. A flagship estate in Haut-Layon, renowned in particular for its red wines, but also very comfortable with white and rosé wines. A (very) safe bet.
