"Prix Plaisir for this fruity, well-balanced Cabernet Franc, the archetypal easy-drinking wine".

This red Anjou is a fruity, fresh cuvée. It's delicious, with aromas of fresh strawberries and blackcurrants. The palate is silky and balanced, with a slightly smoky finish reminiscent of the appellation's eruptive terroir.

Guide Hachette des vins

Vin noté (guide 2025) 2*Étoiles (Millésime 2022) (Vin remarquable)

Rated domain (guide 2025) Award-winning wines (Wines from this producer regularly win awards in the guide)

About the domain :

Run by the younger generation, Stéphane, Julien and Vincent Denis, who arrived in 2003, 2006 and 2009 respectively, this is a family business that dates back to 1920; 5 ha at its origins, 90 ha today. A flagship estate in the Haut-Layon region, renowned in particular for its red wines, but also very much at ease with white and rosé wines. A (very) safe bet.
