About the wine :
There won't be enough for everyone! This rare cuvée is a magnificent golden color. Its intense nose combines the sweetness of jammy yellow fruit with fresh menthol notes. After a rich attack, the palate is beautifully balanced; apricot aromas are fully expressed on a mellow woodiness, followed by a long, drawn-out finish.
About the domain :
Consistent in quality across all Anjou wine styles, this estate, founded in 1919 by Alexis Deffois, is located in Haut Layon, in the south of Anjou and west of Saumurois. The founder's grandsons, Hubert and Raymond Deffois, joined in 2010 by his sons-in-law Nicolas Tamboise and Benjamin Grandsart, manage a 50-hectare vineyard.
