Cuvée Franc de Pied is a wine made from 4-year-old vines planted franc de pied (without rootstock), which already offered more richness than normal young vines. With ripe fruit, this dry, full-bodied white offers a deeper minerality. It can be drunk within a few hours of opening, but will evolve over a decade or so...

Domaine de Bellivière - Philosophale (moelleux) 2010

New vintage, 2009 rated: Robert Parker 94-95+/100
Philosophale is a mellow wine (85g residual sugar). The color is a concentrated, intense, bright old gold. The nose is very complex, with sweet spices and candied fruit. The palate has a surprising balance of liquor and acidity, and the purity of terroir. A very long finish adds the final touch to this great success!
