The greatest wine of the Loire Valley! It benefits from a unique terroir and location, rare breed and elegance, and a remarkable texture that combines power and clarity, richness and precision. The bouquet is highly floral, with notes of citrus and orchard fruit. A great Quarts de Chaume!

Gault & Millau Wine Guide

Guide des Vins Gault & Millau

Estate rated (2012 guide) 5*Stars (Outstanding production)

About the domain :

"The Baumard family established itself at Logis de la Giraudière in 1959. Florent Baumard joined his father, Jean, in 1987 and now runs the estate. Here, we alternate between working the soil and planting grass (one row in two), in order to preserve the microbiological fauna and its humus potential, and avoid settling. Thanks to a perfect mastery of winemaking and a keen understanding of the identity of each of his terroirs, Florent Baumard offers an astonishing range of wines. "
