Château Bellerive
Château Bellerive is located in the heart of the Quarts de Chaume appellation in the Loire Valley. Château Bellerive is owned byAlain Château, as are Château de la Guimonière and Château de Varennes. The wine made at Château Bellerive is exclusively Chenin blanc.

Château Bellerive 's vines are planted on schistose slopes sloping down to the Layon river. South-facing and bathed in the river's moisture, the vineyard enjoys ideal conditions for the development of botrytis (noble rot). Château Bellerive, AOC Quarts de Chaume, is a shimmering golden wine. On the palate, it presents beautiful notes of exotic fruit and toast, with a sensation of freshness and length on the finish.

"An exceptional vintage!

The 1997 Quarts de Chaume Bellerive has benefited from the little "miracles" of the mild Anjou weather, to become one of the appellation's exceptional years. With luscious, intense notes of candied apricot and mango, it now presents itself in all its fullness, smoothly, without heaviness. An anthology year for a gourmet gem at an affordable price!

Already superb on the nose, the 2020 vintage is already making our mouths water! Already promising, this bottle concentrates aromatic complexity, richness and power, while retaining freshness. On the palate, we'd like to highlight citrus and lemony flavors, with an astonishing balance of sugar and acidity. A superb vintage, already delicious on the fruit, which will evolve perfectly over the years!
