Grande réussite

RVF

"A blend of tressailler and chardonnay with notes of lemon and verbena. verbena. It seduces with its straightforward, crisp and persistent body." (La Revue du vin de France, Spécial millésime 2014, June 2015). For his second vintage, Florent Barichard signs the finest success of the vintage and places himself directly as the emblem of the appellation's revival. Not to be missed!

Wine rated (2015 guide) 16-17/20

Domaine noté (guide 2024) Sélectionné (We remind you that this guide is a prize list and as such, all the estates that appear in it, even without a star, represent, in our eyes, the excellence of French production).

About the wine:

A blend of tressailler and chardonnay with notes of lemon and verbena. It seduces with its straightforward, crisp and persistent body.

About the domain :

Taking over part of his uncle's vineyard, young Florent Barichard vinified his first vintage in 2013. With his partner Éric Nesson, they carry out serious plot-based work. Indigenous yeasts and ageing in concrete vats give birth to ripe, fresh, dynamic whites that are helping to renew the local landscape. Prohibited in the Saint-Pourçain appellation, grape varieties vinified on their own are classified as Vin de France.

Very fine bottle: beautiful floral aromas and minerality, well-balanced.
