This 20-year-old Tawny fills the glass with its amber color and tiled highlights, a sign of its long aging in oak barrels. It delivers a complex aromatic palette of dried fruits, tinged with notes of undergrowth (mushrooms) and gourmet caramel. The balance on the palate is well controlled, with acidity counterbalancing the residual sugars. Notes of walnut and raisin take on fullness and accompany the long finish superbly.
