Domaine Sorin

Domaine Sorin
Domaine Sorin is located in Saint-Cyr-Sur-Mer in the Var, in the heart of the Bandol climate basin and 3 kilometers from the sea. The 12-hectare vineyard is nestled in the unspoilt natural setting of Provence, benefiting from its exceptional sunshine.

The Domaine Sorin vineyard, planted with local grape varieties such as Mourvèdre, Syrah and Rolle, was taken over in 1994 by Luc Sorin. Domaine Sorin produces red, white and rosé wines in the Côtes de Provence, Bandol and Vin de Pays du Var appellations. Originally from Burgundy, Luc Sorin has brought all his know-how and experience to this Provence vineyard. On red Mediterranean clay-limestone soil, Domaine Sorin's vines are grown using sustainable methods, without chemical fertilizers, with respect for nature and the wines to come. Controlled yields and winemaking techniques that are both traditional and innovative are the hallmarks of the estate's mastery, helping to make it a benchmark in the South of France. Domaine Sorin 's wines have been acclaimed by the greatest sommeliers and take pride of place on France's finest tables.

Domaine Sorin - Bandol rosé 2007

One of the appellation's best value for money!

Nice-Matin (Spécial Rosés 2008) 15/20 , Le Point"A wine of absolute frankness".
Respect for the terroir and the environment are concepts that make sense for Luc Sorina native of Burgundy who has come to Provence to exercise his exceptional talents. For many years now, he has been producing wines renowned for their accuracy and straightforwardness. His Bandol Rosé 2007 is the perfect illustration: a wine full of character, fine, intense, balanced and structured, sustained by concentrated, ripe fruit. A production of just 7200 bottles, presented in old Provencal wax-sealed bottles. A must-try!
