One of the appellation's best value for money!
Nice-Matin (Spécial Rosés 2008) 15/20 ,Le Point"A wine of absolute frankness".Respect for the terroir and the environment are concepts that make sense for Luc Sorina native of Burgundy who has come to Provence to exercise his exceptional talents. For many years now, he has been producing wines renowned for their accuracy and straightforwardness. His Bandol Rosé 2007 is the perfect illustration: a wine full of character, fine, intense, balanced and structured, sustained by concentrated, ripe fruit. Expert opinion
Bettane & Desseauve
Domaine noté (guide 2014) Sélectionné (An estate or house that has won us over with one or more wines from its production, without us being able to give a general opinion on the style of the entire range)
About the domain :
"Burgundian Luc Sorin settled in Saint-Cyr-sur-Mer in 1994, on clay-limestone soils where he produces a range of Côtes de Provence and Bandols. The Sergine white cuvée features the rolle grape. It will surprise you with its power, and is best enjoyed young, with its fresh fruit. Cuvée Privée is dominated by Syrah, while the Bandols are classically built around Mourvèdre. In both rosé and red, the Bandols have more substance than the Côtes de Provence.
RVF - La Revue du Vin de France / Guide des Meilleurs Vins de France
Domaine noté (guide 2008) Sélectionné (We remind you that this guide is a prize list and as such, all the estates that appear in it, even without a star, represent, in our eyes, the excellence of French production).
About the domain :
"Domaine Sorin produces wines from both the Bandol and Côtes de Provence appellations. Luc Sorin, originally from Burgundy, took over the domaine in 1994 and produces vinous, colorful rosés, as well as structured, fleshy reds. We applaud the ripeness and concentration of all the cuvées. However, some red cuvées are slightly over-extracted and lack freshness, characterized by a lack of elegance".
