Aged for six months in vats, this bright, limpid rosé opens with a nose of delicate fruity and floral notes, reminiscent of wilted roses. A full-bodied, delicious wine in a highly original style, to be reserved for grilled meats and barbecues...

Bettane & Desseauve

Bettane & Desseauve

Domaine rated (2018 guide) 2*Stars (A serious and recommendable production but a little more regular and homogeneous than the previous one)

About the domain :

Born in 2000, the partnership between singer Emmanuelle Dupéré and geological engineer Laurent Barrera is now well established. These négociants, winemakers and breeders are well supplied with quality grapes, and Provence is a favorite area for the duo. After selling their Clos de la Procure estate in 2016, they are now refocusing on their core business: making a range of delicious, characterful cuvées.

Gault & Millau Wine Guide

Guide des Vins Gault & Millau

Estate rated 3*Stars (very good production)

About the domain :

In 1998, Laurent Barrera, a geological engineer, and Emmanuelle Dupéré, a Bordeaux graduate with a BTS in viti-œno, set up a small wine merchant business with the aim of producing top-quality wines throughout the south-east of France. They buy grapes on the vine, and monitor vinification very closely. Clos de la Procure, operated directly, comprises a majority of old vines in Carnoules (30 km east of Bandol). 2009 saw the construction of a new winery, right in the middle of the vines.

Estate rated (2018 guide) 1*Star (Stars in the making or quality winemakers with good production levels, you won't be disappointed when you taste the wines from these estates)

About the domain :

2016 was a turning point for Emmanuelle Dupéré and Laurent Barrera. The couple sold their Clos de la Procure estate in Carnoules to devote themselves exclusively to their haute couture trading business in Provence, the Southern Rhône and Languedoc. Carefully selecting their supplies, they bring out cuvées that are close to the fruit and juicy in the en Caractère range, through to more ambitious wines with a strong Provencal character, particularly in reds (80% of volumes), such as The Last One, or TLM, which undergoes a two-month maceration. The wide range of labels will appeal to wine lovers in search of a thrill.
