The Michel family runs the Mas de Valériole since the late 1950s. Located in the heart of the Camargue Regional Nature Park, the Mas de Valériole is named after the estate's founder in 1426, François de Valériole, a physician from Arles.

Mas de Valériole is a 22-hectare winegrowing estate that has been certified organic since 2006, under the Bouches du Rhône PGI. The two Michel brothers have divided the farm's tasks between them: Jean-Paul is in charge of growing wheat, rice and sunflowers; Patrick is the winemaker. Patrick has undertaken to restructure the vineyard by uprooting unsatisfactory varieties in favor of Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Caladoc, Marselan, Chardonnay and Vermentino.

The estate produces two ranges of wines corresponding to the two geographical entities of the property: Mas de Valériole and Domaine Saint Vincent.

Harvested at night when fully ripe, it produces a fresh, generous wine with aromas of red fruit, garrigue, violets and licorice. Juicy and energetic on the palate, with a supple, mellow tannic structure and a long, tobacco finish. An original cuvée, perfect with stewed dishes!
