"A ripe palette, on a dominant marsanne with beewax, dried fruit and a touch of honey. The patina of the wood adds a certain sweetness. The palate is full and vinous, with a broad mid-palate well counterbalanced by beautiful bitters". (Le Guide RVF 2024).

About the wine:
A ripe palette, on a dominant marsanne with beewax, dried fruit and a touch of honey. The patina of wood adds a certain sweetness. The palate is full and vinous, with a broad mid-palate well balanced by beautiful bitters.
About the domain :
Château des Tourettes has a lovely vineyard on the Apt plateau. Maine and Jean-Marie Guffens have restructured almost the entire vineyard, asserting their determination to create a beautiful terroir by replanting with massal selections. The wines are faithful to Jean-Marie Guffens' style, always offering the right balance between ripe grapes and mineral tension on the finish. Jean-Marie and Maine refocus production on whites, and put an end to the Guffens du Sud négoce.
