Domaine Alary
The Alary family has been linked to Cairanne for several generations, and it was under the reign of Louis XIV that the history of the Alary family began. Domaine Alary debute. Denis Alary, the tenth generation to run the estate, joined his father Daniel in 1981 to manage an estate on a human scale, where the winemaking spirit has always been the foundation.

Domaine Alary affirmed its convictions by turning to organic farming in the early 2000s, and was certified in 2009. Denis' son Jean-Etienne, a wine enthusiast, naturally joined the domaine after a trip to Australia and New Zealand in 2016.

Domaine Alary's wines, whose quality continues to improve, are the result of a fine father-son partnership.

"A most enchanting Cairanne!

"Tradition is good with the Alary family, and after an already remarkable 2020, the 2021 takes top honors. Gentle vinification, more infused than extracted, followed by 18 months in vats, have produced this complex, impeccably fresh red, with a refined bouquet of ripe black berries, aromatic herbs (sage) and flint. The palate is also distinguished by its velvety, supple, fine suavity, chiselled tannins and very long finish of morello cherry, garrigue and spices. Irresistible today, it will be even more so in a few years". (Le Guide Hachette 2025)
