In 1986, Marie-Christine Andrieu, daughter and granddaughter of a farmer, and Pascal Valadier settled in the southern part of the Rhône Valley vineyards. Today, between them, they cultivate 45 hectares of organically grown vines on two separate estates: Le Domaine Le Renard and Domaine Valand. The wines produced come from the Cairanne, Côtes du Rhône Village Plan de dieu, Côtes du Rhône and Vin de Pays de la Principauté d'Orange appellations (white, rosé, red).

Domaine Le Renard covers 30 hectares and is farmed organically. Located in Travaillan, near Avignon, the building surrounding the vineyard was once a convent in the 15th century. Ideally situated between Orange and Vaison la Romaine, at the foot of Mont Ventoux, the vineyard extends over the villages of Cairanne, Travaillan, Camaret and Sérignan du Comtat, at the foot of the Dentelles de Montmirail. The environment is made up of garrigues, on clay-limestone soils covered with pebbles. Domaine Le Renard produces generous, full-bodied wines typical of southern appellations.

2*Coup de Coeur Hachette
"Syrah and Grenache in equal measure, with long maceration and partial barrel ageing: a winning combination. Opaque, the color announces an intense nose of macerated fruit, undergrowth and truffle underlined by oak. The barrel is discreet on the palate, bringing its patina, roundness and aromatic nuances to a fleshy, long palate, as powerful as it is elegant. Let's hear what the judges have to say: "super balance", "remarkable wine", "very fine vintage", "keep it up! That says it all.(Le Guide Hachette des Vins 2020)
