Le Domaine du Grand Tinel est né en 1972. En 1974 intervient la construction de la cave du domaine de 4600 hl de capacité, sur trois niveaux : le sous-sol étant réservé au vieillissement en foudres et fûts de chêne, le rez-de-chaussée à la vinification et réception de la vendange, le 1er étage aux bureaux, laboratoire œnologique, plus une partie de la cuverie de vinification.
Christophe Jeune et ses deux sœurs Béatrice et Isabelle perpétuent la tradition d'excellence du Domaine du Grand Tinel. Le vignoble s'étend sur 74 hectares plantés de vieilles vignes de variétés diverses. La viticulture s'effectue de façon raisonnée. La vendange est manuelle, avec un premier tri du raisin à la vigne, puis un second tri à l'arrivée en cave, à l'aide d'une table de tri.
