Domaine de la Janasse

The work in the vineyard is organized to obtain the best ripeness and concentration of the grapes, but also and above all to express the terroir. To achieve this, the Domaine de la Janasse team works the soil using various methods (plowing, hoeing) to force the roots to grow deep into the ground, and spends many hours on green work, such as debudding, leaf removal, and green harvesting. Each of these tasks is considered on a case-by-case basis, plot by plot, year by year. Added to this is a particular meticulousness in the vinification and aging of the wines. Domaine de la Janasse is a family-run estate where the utmost care is taken in the work in the vineyard and in the production of very fine wines.
