"At the top of the estate's wines, Le Vieux Télégraphe Châteauneuf-du-Pape 2012 is a classic with a magnificent aromatic palette (kirsch, garrigue, great minerality, and meaty flavors), medium-bodied richness, and a firm tannic structure. As usual, it will need a few years in the cellar to open up, with a lifespan of around 15 years. Drink until 2027." (Wine Advocate - Robert Parker)

Wine rated (2015 guide) 17,5/20 (Reference wine)
Rated estate (2016 guide) 4 stars (Producers of very high quality, those who are the pride of French vineyards)
About wine:
Noble licorice on the nose, harmonized by notes of resin and cedar, great finesse on the palate, harmonious, long, complex, a wine of perfect style.
About the estate:
This splendid property in Bédarrides is one of the appellation's major wines, boasting a vast vineyard in a single block, located entirely on the Crau plateau. The red wine is one of the most complete in the appellation, in a style skillfully developed by the Brunier family, who do not favor power despite the generous alcohol content, but rather balance and drinkability. To achieve this, they make use of complex grape varieties and do not necessarily seek overripe grapes! The different wines formerly produced on the Roquette vineyard are now integrated into Vieux-Télégraphe, the excellent Clos-Roquette white and the magnificent red under the name of the lieu-dit, Piedlong.

Wine rated (2015 guide) 18/20 (Great wine)
Rated estate (2016 guide) 2 stars (These very large estates, often blessed with fabulous terroirs, are must-haves which, thanks to their consistency and the excellence of their production, deserve a place in the cellars of discerning wine lovers).
About wine:
Le Vieux Télégraphe possesses the sunny character of La Crau in its body and aromas, but its refinement prevails.
About the estate:
Under the name Vignobles Brunier, we have brought together the estates of Vieux Télégraphe, La Roquète (renamed Accent de La Roquète from the 2011 vintage onwards) and Les Pallières in Gigondas, all owned by the Brunier brothers. Three benchmark estates. The splendid pebbles of La Crau, a warm terroir, are the source of the distinctive character of Vieux Télégraphe wines. The estate produces an important and unique cuvée of great consistency. Grapes that are lightly or not at all destemmed and aged in old casks produce rich wines that need to be cellared for a long time to dissipate their energy. They then rediscover all the minerality of this superb terroir. Located in the center of the village of Châteauneuf-du-Pape, the vineyard is mainly planted on the Pielong plateau and in the sandier Pignan district. La Roquète became, in 2011, L'Accent de La Roquète, produced from the finest grapes. The wines are always straightforward and pure, more elegant than imposing. The rest is downgraded to the Le Télégramme cuvée, a newcomer to the French market. And finally, the Les Pallières estate, a magnificent Gigondas vineyard located on terraces below the Dentelles de Montmirail. The wine expresses itself in a deep, structured style without heaviness.
