Visit Domaine Georges Vernay is a family-run business founded in 1953, starting with 1.5 hectares of vines in the Condrieu "Coteau de Vernon" appellation. A pioneer in the revival of the appellation, the Domaine Georges Vernay has always marked its wines with a unique style: finesse, elegance, harmony. Three generations have left their mark on the estate's philosophy, perpetuating age-old rituals with the purest respect for vines and people.

Visit Domaine Georges Vernay is located in the heart of the steep slopes of the northern Rhône Valley. The estate has become a major landmark in the history of Rhône Valley viticulture since the rescue of the Condrieu appellation by Georges Vernay to the international recognition of Côte-Rôtie. Today, his children Luc and Christine Vernay are in charge of vinification, and the estate covers 16 hectares. Whatever their classification, the wines are always tasty and of the highest quality. An emblematic Rhône Valley estate, Domaine Vernay is renowned for its Côte-Rôtie and Condrieu wines. Christine Vernay, who has been managing the estate and winemaking for over 20 years, took over in 1996 from her father (Georges Vernay, credited with saving the appellation and the Viognier grape variety) and grandfather (Francis Vernay), who were behind the creation of the estate. The Domaine, with its steep slopes, is now fully certified Viticulture Biologique, and is worked with passion and investment.
