"A sensational Côtes du Rhône, better than most Châteauneuf du Pape wines from the same vintage (Jeb Dunnuck)"
"Made from century-old Grenache vines (with 10% Syrah and Mourvèdre in the blend) located mainly in the northern part of the southern Rhône, the 2015 Côtes du Rhône Villages Arcane le Soleil spent 15 months in a third of new barrels, concrete vats, and stainless steel vats. This beautiful ink-colored wine offers wonderful aromas of blueberry, burnt earth, graphite, and crushed violets. Deep, full-bodied, incredibly pure and elegant, with silky tannins, this is a sensational Côtes du Rhône that is better than most Châteauneuf du Pape wines from the same vintage." (Jeb Dunnuck 2018)

About wine:
The 2015 Côtes du Rhône Villages Arcane Le Soleil is dark in color and fruity, but it also has soft, silky tannins. It is full-bodied, but not excessively so, and its palate is sensationally seductive. Black cherries define the fruit, complemented by notes of dark chocolate and enough garrigue to give it a savory character despite the fruit. It is a blend of old vines consisting of 80% Grenache and 10% Syrah and Mourvèdre, aged for 15 months in one-third new oak, with the rest in concrete vats or large oak casks. Perhaps the best Côte du Rhône Villages I have ever tasted, it seems to have the potential to last another 10 years.

About wine:
This is a very structured and concentrated style, with intense, fresh aromas of red berries and cherries, expressed in a concentrated, fresh, and energetic style. An impressive wine. Enjoy now or cellar.
