Domaine Alain Graillot
The soils are made up of alluvial deposits from the Rhône and Isère rivers, with sand, very little soil and lots of round pebbles, making them very filtering. The vineyards of Domaine Alain Graillot has 20 hectares of vines, divided into 2.7 hectares planted with white grapes (80% marsanne and 20% roussanne) of relatively young vines (25 years old) and 17.3 hectares planted with red grapes made entirely of syrah, ranging in age from 15 to 60 years. The cultivation methods used by Domaine Alain Graillot are traditional but oriented towards low yields, short pruning and light fertilization. No herbicides are used, and the soil is ploughed exclusively to encourage deep rooting. The grapes are harvested by hand and, as a rule, not destemmed.

Chalky and concentrated, with a juicy core of cherry mingling with violet. Lively and precise, with a serious, compact finish at this stage. It should reveal itself after 2026.
