Robert Parker

(2015 vintage notes)

Syrah and Grenache blend harmoniously in this intense, flavorful, complex cuvée, tinged with hints of black fruit and tapenade. A red Lubéron that retains a beautiful mineral structure, tautness, and great tannic finesse... With good aging potential to boot!

Rated estate (2023 guide) 1*Star (A serious, recommendable production, in line with what one would expect from its appellation(s))

About the estate:

Marrenon is one of France's most sophisticated cooperatives. It brings together nine wineries, no less than 7,600 hectares of vineyards, and has bottled more than 85% of the Luberon's annual production for 40 years. This is a remarkable feat in terms of quality, as evidenced by a very diverse and comprehensive range of wines. These wines are deliciously fruity, without losing sight of their terroir of origin.
