"A blend of vintages from 2009 to 2017, with 2016 dominating (30%). The aromatic detail of this maceration wine is to be commended: hints of orange blossom and curry dress without insistence a tonic and generous material, whose tannic grain remains admirably fine." (Le Guide des Meilleurs Vins de France 2019 - RVF) A pretty white maceration wine, amber in color, made from a blend of Vermentino, Maccabeu, Sauvignon and a touch of Malvoisie du Roussillon.

About the wine:
A blend of vintages from 2009 to 2017, with 2016 predominating (30%). The aromatic detail of this maceration wine is to be applauded: hints of orange blossom and curry gently dress up a tonic, generous body whose tannic grain remains admirably fine.
About the domain :
On the beautiful, high-altitude granite terraces of the Fenouillèdes region, northwest of Maury, Gérard Gauby and a few associates acquired this certified organic estate. In 2016, Wendy Wilson replaced Gerald Stanley, who had run the estate since 2008. The red and white wines are vinified in barrels on the basis of very natural principles: indigenous yeasts, no acidification, no chaptalization. Never lacking in freshness or elegance, the reds have recently gained in structure and fleshiness. But from the very first vintage, in 2001, Le Soula has distinguished itself primarily through its whites, which have impressed us with their purity and intensity: the combination of Macabeu, Sauvignon Blanc and several other grape varieties works wonders. The wines are often worth waiting for to reach their full expression.
