RVF
"Golden, round, easy, beautiful fullness of flesh." (Le Guide des Meilleurs Vins de France 2019 - RVF) With a majority of Grenache Gris and Blanc complemented by Macabeu and Roussane, this Roussillon wine is endowed with beautiful depth, thanks to a slender tannic structure, notes of white-fleshed fruit and a hint of petrol. A perfect mealtime wine for Mediterranean summer dishes, such as grilled calamari.

Expert opinion
Bettane & Desseauve
Domaine rated (2020 guide) 1*Star (A serious, recommendable production, in line with what one has the right to expect from its appellation(s))
About the domain :
Structured around a dozen parcels and as many hectares, this spectacular estate's vineyards are mainly planted on steep slopes of clay and schist overlooking the Mediterranean. It's an estate with a long tradition, but one that seems to be running out of steam in recent vintages.
Guide Hachette des vins
Domaine noté (guide 2022) Award-winning wines (The wines of this producer are regularly awarded by the guide)
About the domain :
Created in 1982, this 13-hectare estate brings together the vineyards of Vincent Cantié (in Collioure) and Christine Campadieu (in Banyuls), both from old winemaking families. The estate overlooks the sea on the heights of Collioure. It is a consistent producer of both vins doux naturels and vins secs.

Wine rated (2019 guide) 14/20 (Good wine)
Domaine noté (guide 2022) Sélectionné (We remind you that this guide is a prize list and as such, all the estates that appear in it, even without a star, represent, in our eyes, the excellence of French production).
About the wine:
Golden, round, easy, full-bodied.
About the domain :
Vincent Cantié is fully committed to the demanding viticulture of the Côte Vermeille. His aim is to translate the expression of the grapes (foremost among which are Grenache Noirs) planted on clay and schist into both dry and mature wines. The dry wines are now remarkably reliable, and the Banyuls always very successful.
