Mas Bécha
Located just a few kilometers from the Spanish border, the Mas Bécha is a 25-hectare winegrowing estate. Planted on three hills at an altitude of almost 100 metres, the vines of the Mas Bécha are located in the classified Aspres terroir between the foothills of the Pyrenees and the Mediterranean Sea.

Charles Pérez has owned the estate since 2008, and runs his vineyard according to the principles of organic farming, vinifying his wines with a philosophy of minimizing inputs and mechanical processes. His craftsmanship accompanies every cuvée right through to the table.

The labels for Mas Bécha wines feature members of the Pérez family, and are renewed every year by a different artist.

"Infinite finale...

"The syrah-grenache-mourvèdre trio at work in this well-born cuvée, an attractive intense red with ruby highlights. Equally engaging is the nose, open to fresh red fruits and fine oak. The palate is full, round and well-balanced, carried by smooth tannins and a lovely freshness with menthol and eucalyptus tones that carry through to the finish. Perfect with grilled red meat or in sauce". (Le Guide Hachette 2024)

"The expression of terroir

Excellence reflects the full potential of the Aspres terroir so dear to Mas Becha. On the nose, we find the freshness of the mountains through mentholated aromas and fresh herbs, but also the summer sunshine through notes of blackcurrant, blackberry and blueberry. The velvety, rich palate is the result of precision work. Enjoy with eyes closed!

88/100 Robert Parker

A dense, dark color that reveals ripe black fruits (blackcurrant, blueberry, blackberry) on the nose, followed by a festival of spices and garrigue (pepper, cinnamon, licorice, thyme, rosemary). The palate is ripe and velvety. A bottle well representative of Roussillon!

A blend of Muscat Petits Grains and Muscat d'Alexandrie, Classique Blanc combines powerful aromas with delicate floral notes. On the palate, the sugar is ideally blended into the wine's structure, thanks to a lovely freshness that brings harmony and balance to this cuvée. A lovely Muscat de Rivesaltes!

"On his organic vineyard, Charles Perez has planted Grenache Noir on a small sandy plot. He has just made a singular gourmet rosé, in the spirit of a "blanc de noir". The Grenache gains in substance with ageing in new Austrian barrels, and the finish remains lively". (Terre de Vins - Sept. 2017)
