"The undisputed benchmark in Côtes de Gascogne, a concentrated burst of deliciousness!"

"Well known to readers of the Guide, the estate once again places its No. 3, Favorite , which comes close to a double victory. Lemon, grapefruit, mango, passion fruit, white flowers, the Colombard-Sauvignon blend at its best from the first sniff. The fruit loses none of its vigor on the palate, which is stunning, explosive, voluminous, lively, very acidic but softened by a touch of sweetness." (Le Guide Hachette 2026).

About wine:

Well known to readers of the Guide, the estate once again places its No. 3, Favorite , which comes close to a double victory. Lemon, grapefruit, mango, passion fruit, white flowers, the Colombard-Sauvignon blend at its best from the very first sniff. The fruit loses none of its vigor on the palate, which is stunning, explosive, voluminous, lively, very tart but softened by a touch of sweetness.

About the estate:

The European pond turtle, a nod to those fighting to protect endangered species, is often featured on the labels of Uby (estate and wine merchant), founded in 1956. At the helm of this vast vineyard (300 hectares) since 1995, François Morel has stepped up his efforts to protect the environment and selects partners who supply organic grapes for the wine merchant side of the business.
