"Discover this 100% Chenin from Stellenbosch by Sadie, simply perfect from start to finish according to Vinous: very limited quantity!"
This highly concentrated white wine is very rich in aromas, exuding ripe yellow and tropical fruits such as mango, melon, lemon curd, and apple crumble. On the palate, the whole is bound together by a refreshing, lemony acidity. It is full-bodied and generous, yet remains concentrated. Chenin blanc from the Jonkershoek Valley in Stellenbosch, some of whose vines were planted in 1905. Best after 2025." (James Suckling 2024)

About wine:
The Mev. Kirsten 2023 is perhaps the most closed of the three Chenins, unfolding over time to reveal aromas of yellow fruit, oyster shell, and a touch of lanolin. The palate has superb weight and density—the most fruity Chenin, with an irresistible, slightly viscous texture, counterbalanced by a thread of acidity. The finish is even a little petrol-like. Fabulous from start to finish. 2026-2048
