Villiera Wines
Jeff and Simon Grier create Villiera Wines in 1983, in the Stellenbosch region. They embarked on a major replanting campaign using classic, local grape varieties. With the arrival of modern facilities for the production of still wines, but also Méthode Cap Classic and a unique vision of the wine industry, Villiera Wines has become one of the country's major players, but is still an independent, family-run structure.

Multi-award-winning winemaker Jeff Grier crafts a range of wines defined by the unique character of the Villiera terroir and the fragrant expression of the different grape varieties.

Villiera Wines extends over a 180-hectare vineyard, worked without the use of pesticides. Simon Grier, vineyard manager, works hard to make the vineyard practices as environmentally friendly as possible: control and recycling of waste water, installation of solar panels...

Villiera Wines - Jasmine 2017

4.2/5 (4 reviews)

On the nose, Jasmine is highly aromatic. The blend lends itself perfectly to this: Muscat, Riesling and Gewurztraminer dance in the glass, releasing subtly spicy floral aromas. The palate is fresh and light, with a hint of sweetness (15g) adding a touch of deliciousness to this white. - Packaged in screw-caps.

Villiera Wines - Pinotage 2015

This Pinotage reveals notes of sweet spices, coffee, plum and a smoky touch, giving it a racy character. The palate is easy, greedy and well-structured, with good length. A very pretty Pinotage!
