About the wine:
The 2020 Riesling Wehlener Klosterberg Kabinett (white capsule) presents bright, finely concentrated aromas of ripe, pulpy white peach, intermixed with fresh, slatey notes. Dense and upright on the palate, it's a lean, taut, saline and grippy Riesling that's far too young to be enjoyed before 2025 or perhaps even 2030. From a warm year, this is a cool-climate Kabinett with 10.5% alcohol but intense flavor. Natural cork. Tasted at the estate in July 2022.
