Robert Parker
"All the beauty of German soil!
"The Riesling Haus Klosterberg 2021 (Capsule Blanche) is clear, pure and fresh with a lemony, crisp, fresh and wonderfully greenish nose. On the palate, it's a fruity, round and tasty Riesling, very energetic and stimulating with young, fresh and crisp phenols. Medium-length, not overly complex, this is a dry, straightforward Riesling." (The Wine Advocate 2023)

Another great success in 2021 for this Haus Klosterberg, as refined as ever, with its silky touch supported by a beautiful crystalline freshness. Lively, slender and textured, the palate unfurls delicious, ripe flavors of lemon and, to a lesser extent, yellow fruit, served by vibrant mineral tension. The slightly iodized, stony acidity stretches the material, giving it an incisive character towards an infinity of great amplitude. Good R. Consistent Q/Price over the past three years. Natural and very light at 11.50%, this beautiful Riesling was tasted after aeration, with a salmon tartar with lime and granny apple. Score = 4.2.
